OK, first of all, I will definitely have the starting Event up this weekend... I'll even go as far as saying if i don't, Ill distribute Razel's cash between all of you...
Couple little things - Made members able to reply to an Independent Battle... so now you can comment on them (great, more Xiefall whining) - Raised included stat point amount for all materials' customization - Changing Injury healing to just time, not money
Working on: -Battle NPCs - This is taking longer than I thought it would take, trying to make sure they are well rounded, both stat-wise and their descriptions -Will be posting the Budget System soon - actually always had this in the game but never put it in the rules until now
Last thing... Battle Ranking Rewards... I wanna hear your ideas... the only thing ive thought of is more favorable positions in tournaments, or even not having to fight in the first round... i wanna hear some other ideas

Just changed the Ranking System a bit... now how many points you get for a win depends on the Class Difference between you and your opponents... Battle Ranking is in Progression Rules
Also put up rules for Episode Ranking and Class in General Rules

I like the idea of "first round byes" for tournaments as a reward. What about a cash reward for the length of time you hold the first rank: One Week - $1,000 One Month - $5,000 etc That would encourage people to go after more highly ranked players AND for the higher ranked players to thump the next lowest rank (ie biggest threat) instead of the lowest of all the rungs.
Other reward ideas: - Decreased fuel/ammo prices based on rank (free fuel for #1?) - Bonus Point for every increase in rank - Bonus Point for every month holding the #1 rank - A Gundam-sized #1 headband for your MS
We should also have a leaderboard available for easy viewing, along with a win/loss/draw record and count of how many days/weeks at current rank, etc.
(Sidebar: For battles, what about an "underdog" roll - a di roll for the underdog that gets added to their Luck stat for the battle? Do you have a di with a "0" value as well?)

Love the idea of having the rankings being made public. Makes everything more competitive. The bandana is a bit much, but yes. Something like it. Perhaps do something of the same for character battles as well, but have the rewards a little less rewarding than the mobile suit fights. We want the focus more on the mobile suits, after all.
I'm *more* in favor of reduced repair costs as well for the #1 ranked mobile suit.
Hell, why not have fictional sponsors? Hahaha

I like a lot of those ideas, however it seems like it'd be too much in favor of the top most ranked. I don't like the rich get richer scheme, I think it'd be better if there were more progression rewards. Like moving from 5th to 4th place and so on. I also like the idea of loss streak rewards so that new/weak players can get a boost. And public records is definately a plus.

Another idea to the ranking system. Give *some* points for a loss. Unless you lost completely, 9-0. This gives people some kind of incentive to fight higher ranked people. Like Xiefall for instance. He could fight people around his level for a long time, slowly building while other vets do the same and never have any kind of desire to fight someone like Auray. Giving 0 points for a loss is a bit brutal. Even a meager 50 points would do, I figure.

What ideas we have for letting Big Willie get in on some initiations on these battles? I was thinking there could be some Battle npc with a stat range that would be determined at the time of the fight for him. This could stop him from preying on guaranteed wins and even knowing them too much ahead of time. Thoughts?
