Independent Battles
Independent Battles are character on character, or character on battle NPC battles that are initiated by a character. All non-canon battles will be written as summaries, as canon battles will have a full detailed battle written out.
To initiate an independent battle, first a Battle Form must be sent in.
Forms should be in this format:
Character's name:
Opponent's name:
Type of Battle: MS or Character
Strategy: This will include how intense the fight will be (friendly spar, to the death, etc...). Also you will have to write about what you will do in your strat like in how you will attack and defend, and also what things you might say. Also, all weapons that use ammo and specific equipment options must be included into you strat or they will not count in battle.
Strategy should be between 200 and 300 words.
*Note* You may add more to your strategy to make it interesting, such as location and how you may use that to your advantage. Also, emotion is important, describing how your character is feeling may give you the upper hand or may just make writing it easier for the Administration.
You can only initiate a battle against a single character once per month. This is done to prevent spamming battles on one specific character.
Also, you can only initiate a battle against a character (or Battle NPC) that is +2 to -2 Class (or Tiers) difference from your own Class.
Once the battle has been initiated, as long as it is not a sneak attack (see below), the opponent will be notified and allowed THREE DAYS to send in their strategy. If no strategy is sent in during that time, You will automatically lose the Strategy checkmarks.
There is a set system used for deciding battles, it is as follows...
A Character Battle works a bit differently. The portions used to judge are told through the player's strategy. For instance, if weapons are being used then the character's weapons stat will be used. The character system is as follows...[/color]
Killing is a possibility in all battles. If you want to kill someone you must clearly state it in your strategy. There are certain requirements that have to be met to kill your opponent.
MS Battle:
Must win battle with checkmark score of at least 7 to 2
Character Battle:
5-2 (Set)
7-2 (Equipment/Weapons)
Extra: If someone wins a fight with all checks possible then a Bonus Point will be rewarded.
Multiple Character Battles
Limited to 4 characters, whether it be 3-on-1, or 2-on-2.
All Character Stats per "team" are averaged, where in an MS battle the MS Stats are added together. All characters are to send in they're OWN strat (the "team" can collaborate on the strategy but they must write their strats seperately), and the "team" with the best overall strats wins the strat checks.
Random Battles
Random Battles are non-canon battles that will normally last for a week.
-Random Battles will be 1-on-1, once a day
-Di rolls to determine characters
-2-Sided Di roll to determine whether a character or ms battle (1=char, 2=ms)
-No Character can fight in a Random Battle two days in a row
-Any character who has an upgrade, custom, or anything else that isn't instant In the works is not eligible for ms battles
-For the duration of a random battle no independent battles can be initiated
-No Sneak Attacks

Mobile Suit Battle Pilot Skill Intelligence Perception Luck Total Experience MS Stats (stats will be judged separately, whoever has most 'sub-checks' will win for MS Stats) Weapons (total P:, total B:, total D: subtracted from opponent's P:) Strategy The one who is higher in each of these aspects will be awarded with a check mark, the one with the most check marks will win. Each portion is worth only one check mark. However, Strategy is very important and it will count for two checks instead of one. Damage Amounts 1(ONE) - No battle penalties - $1000 (Instant) - Minor damage to limbs, sensors or body - 2(TWO) - 10% Decrease to Base Stats - $2000 (1 Day) - Loss of limb, moderate armor damage - 3(THREE) - 25% Decrease to Base Stats - $3000 (3 Days) - Multiple loss of limbs, Heavy armor damage - 4(FOUR) - 50% Decrease to Base Stats - $4000 (7 Days) - Complete system failure, dangerously damaged armor - 5(FIVE) - Cannot Participate in Battle - $5000 (14 Days) - Basically a pile of parts - |

Character Battle Fighting Skill (set) Weapon Skill (optional) Intelligence (set) Perception (set) Luck (set) Experience (set) Equipment (optional) Strategy (set) Judging works the same as an MS battle with all portions one check and strategy for two. Injury Amounts 1(ONE) - No battle penalties - (1 Day) - Cuts and Scrapes - 2(TWO) - 10% Decrease to Base Stats - (3 Days) - Battered and Bruised - 3(THREE) - 25% Decrease to Base Stats - (7 Days) ---Sprains and Strained--- 4(FOUR) - 50% Decrease to Base Stats - (10 Days) - Fractured and Concussed - 5(FIVE) - Cannot Participate in Battle - (14 Days) - Near-Death - In Character battles it is possible to Sneak Attack your opponent. In order to do this you must clearly state that you are performing a sneak attack in your strategy. If your sneak attack is successful then you will automatically win your strategy. To win a sneak attack, you're Stealth stat must be higher than your opponent's Perception stat. However, your opponent may find out about your sneak attack and counter it. For this to happen, the person countering must clearly state that he/she will be doing a counter attack. To win a counter attack, you must first defeat the sneak attack (your Perception must be higher than opponent's Stealth), then your Stealth must be higher than your opponent's Perception. Sneak Attack Successful: Attacker wins Strategy Sneak Attack Failed: Normal Battle Sneak Attack Countered: Defender wins Strategy |
